The German CHIP Registry emerged from a collaborative project of the DZHK and aims to provide CHIP patients with the best possible advice and therapy as an interdisciplinary team.
The combination of optimal patient care and cutting-edge research is only possible in a strong team. Accordingly, the guiding principle of the German CHIP Registry is “Together against CHIP!”. With Prof. Heribert Schunkert (Director of Cardiology at the German Heart Center Munich) and Prof. Florian Bassermann (Director of Hematology and Oncology at the Klinikum Rechts der Isar), the German CHIP Register has two excellently qualified patrons at its side, who help to develop guideline-based medicine at the highest level in the fields of cardiology and hematology & oncology.
